The Bablic X Jimdo integration guide is finally here and you can now add additional languages to your Jimdo website within minutes, with just one line of code!

Bablic is an easy website translation solution that lets you completely localize your Jimdo website by simply adding one line of code to your Header section. You basically enter your Jimdo URL on Bablic.com and select the language you want to add. It’ll open up your Jimdo website in Bablic’s editor with the translated content, you can then manually edit all of the elements you see (text, images, css, forms, error msgs, etc) simply by right-clicking on them. Once you’re ready just click Activate Now on the top right of the editor in order to get your code snippet…

Now that we’ve covered the basics lets move on to the actual integration. At this point you’ve already visited Bablic.com, entered your Jimdo URL, selected the language you want to add and clicked ACTIVATE NOW.

Get started by logging into your Jimdo account.

1) Open the Settings Section

As pictured below, please open the “Settings” section of your Jimdo site.

2) Open the Edit Head Section

Now that you have the Settings section open, please click on the “Edit Head” button as highlighted in blue below.

3) Paste the Bablic Code Snippet

It’s finally time to paste the Bablic code snippet. Paste it right into the Edit Head box that opened up, as seen in the following screenshot.

4) Click Save!

You’re done, just make sure to click “Save” 🙂

Now that the Bablic code snippet is pasted onto your Jimdo website, please visit the Bablic editor once again and make sure to click Publish in order to make your additional language/languages live on your website.

The Publish/Unpublish option in Bablic’s editor allows you to turn off the translation if it isn’t complete or while you are making changes, that way there’s no need to remove the Bablic code every time you’d like to work on your translated content.
