How to Edit Text With The Bablic Visual Editor

I previously provided an overview of the Visual Editor. In it, I mentioned it’s possible to change any translated text by right-clicking on it

Today I’ll explore – in detail – how to make on-page text edits.

You’re going to want to sign into your account and access the Visual Editor from the Dashboard.

Once you’re in, you’ll be presented with the home page of your website you added when you signed up to Bablic.

For this tutorial, I’ll be using my own website.

Editing Text

Any element with text – your navigation menu, on-page text, text in your footer, sign-up button text etc., is customizable.

Once you’ve made your selection, right-click, and click on Edit Text.

The Edit Translation Box will pop up.

The box has the original content at the top and the translated content at the bottom.

Edit your translation in the translation content box and click next to move through the various text elements on your site.

Once you’ve made changes, hit Apply.

Repeat this process for all text elements on your site.

For quick navigation to pages you want to edit, navigate your site like you normally would by clicking on any link on the page.

If you’d like you can also move to the page by clicking on Options and go to page.

Now type in the URL of the destination page.

Note: you can use both absolute or relative URL paths. For example, to navigate to your contact us page you can either type the absolute path of the page: yourdomain.com/contact-us or the relative path of the page: /contact-us.

Moving The Translation Text Box

It’s also possible to move the translation box by clicking on the arrow in the top right.

The box will now move to the right sidebar.

Note for Advanced Users

For those who have experience using HTML tags, it’s possible to add these from within the text editor. For example, if you want you can bold certain text by including an HTML tag like this in the translated text box:

Monitoring All Edits You’ve Made

It’s possible to check all edits you’ve made from the In-Text Editor Page.

You can access this page from the Option’s menu. Click on Show In text Editor.

You’ll be taken to a summary page of all the translated content on your site.

Make any further changes from this page, and if you want, filter the elements by status, or use the search box to find the content you’re looking for.
